Data practices
What we do not collect
This site does not run any third-party analytics or tracking scripts. It sets no cookies. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no forms. We do not keep a database of visitors, and we cannot identify who has visited a page or what they have read.
What is collected, by whom
The only way to reach us from this site is by email, at hello@grazziehouse.com. Your message goes to Grazzielle Lefranc only. It is handled by the email service she uses and is kept only as long as the conversation needs it. Messages that do not lead to a project are deleted after up to 12 months.
We use what you send only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not share it with anyone else.
Guest essays
Some essays on this site are written by invited guests. A guest author is credited by name, and an essay by a guest is marked as an invited essay. Guests agree to the publication of their name, their words and any images they supply before an essay goes live. A guest can ask for a change or for removal at any time by writing to the address above.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps minimal access logs as part of running the service: IP addresses, request times and requested files. We do not use these logs for analytics. Netlify keeps them under its own privacy policy.
Fonts
Typography is loaded from Google Fonts. Google may log a request when the fonts are fetched. If you prefer to avoid this, a browser extension such as uBlock Origin can block the request, and the site will fall back to system fonts.
Your rights
If you are in the UK, the EU, the EEA or any region with similar protections, you have the right to ask:
- what personal data we hold about you (almost certainly nothing, beyond emails you have sent us);
- for a copy of any such data;
- for correction or deletion; and
- to opt out of any future communications.
To use any of these rights, write to hello@grazziehouse.com. We will reply within 30 days.

Changes to this page
If our practices change in any meaningful way, we will update this page and note the date below. We will not quietly expand what we collect.
